Job purpose
We are looking for a Shop Service Lead Technician to Join our growing team and help drive our customer service goals and objectives in the Field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Heavy Equipment service and support, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensures work orders are complete, service reports are properly completed, and all parts are returned to inventory before job completion.
- Coordinates with other locations to schedule and complete the repair of different components.
- Assists to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
- Updates Shop Manager and Service Coordinator on the status and problems of the equipment in the shop.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts through coordination with the Service Coordinator
- Ensures effective communication between customers and Service Coordinators.
- Assists, supervises, and trains technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Works closely with inspectors on reporting the discrepancies between customer requested repairs and those found during inspections.
- Works with all shop personnel to ensure that the shop is kept clean, organized
- Responsible for shop and technician safety
- Assists in estimating repairs or reconditions.
- Advise and communicate process and procedures improvements.
- Parts reusable specialist / champion.
- Carrying out inspections and testing on materials, products, and equipment to guarantee that they are up to the relevant requirements and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected hourly range for this Colorado position is between $40.00-$50.00 an hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
