Our pride lies in our long-standing partnership with utilities companies, the reliability of our products, and the technical and hands-on capabilities of our team.The Manufacturing Engineer's primary responsibilities will be to focus on continuous improvement for manufacturing operations by analyzing, developing, and implementing cost-effective manufacturing solutions to support KPI's. This position will be involved with and leading the implementation of 5S, conducting kaizen events, product quality improvements, root cause analysis, and cost reduction initiatives. Position does not require direct supervision however it will require leading kaizen events.LOCATION: Primarily onsite; some scheduled travel requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development and implementation of 5S program
- Continuous improvement through planning and leading kaizen events
- Support plant operations as necessary to ensure KPI's are met
- Capital expenditure project development and implementation
- Determining manufacturing equipment needs
- Conducting root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformances
- Work instructions, standard work, and process flows
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 1-3 Years Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering
