Position Summary
The Video Producer is an intermediate level role, responsible for the development and execution of video communications designed to impact POWER’s customers, candidates, and employees. They are a compelling storyteller with deep production experience, and execute to the standards of POWER’s creative style and voice. This role plays an integral part in the development of content ideas and execution for the Brand Department. Responsibilities include collaboration with the creative team, organizing production requirements, getting hands-on with cameras/lighting/audio, and communications with internal and external partners. This role’s primary goal is to bring content ideas to life, from the early stages through the final cut.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Executes production responsibilities on all assigned projects on time and on budget.
- Collaborates cross-functionally in the development of project goals, project scope, and creative approach.
- Participates in execution of content development process, logistics, and production.
- Participates in the development of shot lists, scheduling, location scouting, talent coordination, and securing proper releases and permits.
- Participates in the direction of art and set design.
- Determines, coordinates, and manages equipment needs for assigned productions.
- Coordinates with all production departments on specifics required for execution for assigned projects.
- Maintains and communicates documentation required for all aspects of production.
- Prepares, attends, and contributes to all planning & development meetings for assigned projects
- Communicates effectively with project teams throughout the creative development process to ensure project timelines and deliverables are being met.
- Assumes role of principal cinematographer, lighting director, and audio specialist, when necessary.
- Receives, interprets, and applies leadership feedback in timely and effective manner
- Must be able to manage multiple projects occurring simultaneously
- Responsible for tracking working time spent on assigned projects for reporting purposes.
- Regular travel and work outside of business hours expected.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must possess a high degree of technical proficiency when utilizing video editing tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing departmental tools and platforms, adhering to rigorous technical and procedural standards.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and demonstrates an eagerness to learn.
- 4-7 years experience in the following areas:
- Production environments, with emphasis on commercial work
- Working with Project Management tools and developing production documents
- Working in Adobe Creative Cloud, with emphasis on Premiere, After Effects, and Audition
- Super35 and Full Frame camera systems
- lighting techniques and equipment
- audio capture technique and equipment
- working with grip equipment
- leading production team on set
- Experience working within a team-based media asset management environment
