What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Project Manager position at Power House Resources?
Power House Resources is currently hiring for a Field Project Engineering Manager.
- Engineering or Construction Management degree required.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in construction projects of similar size / scope (this project is $55 million).
- Experience in industrial / municipal projects (over $10 million) required. Experience in commercial-type construction will not be considered.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Proficient in using the following software packages : Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Microsoft Project.
- Proficient in performing the following tasks :
- Field productivity and cost tracking, including comparison to budget.
- Field layout for upcoming work (support Foremen and Project Superintendent)
- QA / QC of work performed by field crews.
- Development of work packages, including sequence of work, materials and equipment needed, associated budgets, etc.
- Purchase materials / tools needed to perform the work.
- Assist Project Superintendent with office-related tasks.
- Subcontractors’ management and scheduling.
- Assist PM with project schedule updates.
- Assist PM with project cost reporting.
- Develop project submittals (product data, quality control plans, field procedures, shop drawings, etc.) in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Experience with the following software is preferred, but not required : Procore, Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista.
- Exempt position (salary / no overtime). This person will be required to work 60 hours per week (job will run 6 days a week).
- Term : Anticipated 12 months, possibly more.
