What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Customer Service Representative position at Power In Motion Gymnastics, Dance, and Cheer?
Power In Motion is a children’s activity center focusing on gymnastics, dance, cheer, and ninja. We have served Saint Joseph and the surrounding communities for 15 years. We are looking for an energetic person to be the face of our fun, and fast-paced front desk. Lots of room for growth!
Must have a happy and outgoing personality that enjoys being around children and their families in an exciting learning environment. Sales and/or customer service experience is a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Builds relationships and provides quality customer service to our client families and students
- Greets and assists current and prospective clients and students in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, responding to inquiries with a sense of urgency
- Multi-tasks by answering the phone, listening actively, relaying information, and typing basic information simultaneously and accurately
- Shows excellence in communication in person and via phone, email, live-chat, and social media to secure new clients and convert current clients to new programs
- Creates solutions to client complaints that keep the best interest, for both the company and the client, in mind
- Performs opening and/or closing duties which include: end of day accounting, unlocking/locking doors, etc.
- Supports staff and management with tasks that include maintaining the cleanliness of the office/lobby (vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, etc)
- Carries out typical office operations such as typing, photocopying, filing, computer work, and other office activities
- Manages and organizes daily tasks by utilizing a task calendar
- Will become proficient in the client management system which processes payments, notates students absences and makeup classes and manages class, event, staff, and family information
- Will gain a firm understanding of our classes and offerings to be able to suggest the best options based on age, experience, and class type and enrolling students in those classes
- Will promote and help families register for events hosted by the gym
- Assists management team with projects and completes in a timely fashion by prioritizing high priority items first
- Retains a strong working customer service team
- Fosters a growing, professional, working environment to meet the goals of the company
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Outgoing and friendly personality, as there is regular contact with customers both in person and on the phone.

EXPERIENCE:
- Google Drive experience preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Front Desk experience preferred
- Gymnastics, cheer, and/or dance knowledge preferred, but not required

Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Thursday 3:45pm-8:45pm & Friday 3:15pm-8:30pm
- Weekends as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
