Welder

Description

Overhauling and maintaining construction, mining, and aggregate equipment. Able to diagnose root cause of failure and repair back to OEM standards. Ability to air-arch, weld, cut and grind. Able to perform field machining service (Line Boring) or willing to learn. Must have the ability to perform disassembly and assembly or machines to perform repairs

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair equipment components, buckets, attachments, and structural parts.

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

• Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other shop equipment as needed.

• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.

• Work collaboratively with technicians and shop personnel to complete projects on time.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Technical certification in welding preferred.

• 2 years of welding experience, preferably in a heavy equipment or industrial setting.

• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and basic fabrication tools.

• Ability to read blueprints and work independently or in a team.

• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Salary : $28 - $33
