What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Gymnastics/Tumbling Assistant ages 2-6 position at Power Music and Dance Studio?
MUST BE OVER 17 AND WORK SET HOURS
Monday 230-4pm. Wednesday 1pm-2:45pm ( opportunity for added hours & increased pay after 5 months )
Duties:
- Assist and conduct gymnastics classes for children ages 2-6, varies skill levels
- Teach proper techniques and skills in a safe and supportive environment
- Help Create lesson plans that are engaging, educational, and age-appropriate
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to each student
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing studio rules and maintaining a clean and organized studio space
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, terminology, and safety procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff members
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- training in gymnastics or a related field is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
