Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies for long-term financial growth and sustainability.
- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive the fundraising efforts, including Series A and subsequent rounds.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
- Manage budgeting processes and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead financial audits and ensure accurate and timely financial data reporting.
- Participate in board meetings and present financial updates to stakeholders.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is highly preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certifications are a plus.
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles, preferably in startups or fast-growing companies.
- Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and financial strategy.
- Experience in managing large-scale investments and financial operations.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, dynamic startup environment.

- This role is unpaid until the company completes its fundraising round. Post-fundraising, the salary will be competitive and aligned with market standards for CFOs in the US, with potential for equity participation.
