Overview
This position will use their skillset to distribute necessary materials for transformers while considering the values and goals of Power Partners.
Responsibilities
Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding verifying and documenting materials. Ensure safe and proper operation of tools and equipment. Safely operate motorized lift equipment. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50 lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers. Ensure conformity of ALL materials and documents to standards. Follow all safety polices and procedures.
Qualifications
• Communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions;• Use iPad, computer, and/or other electronic communication devices;• Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration;• Use good organizational skills and show attention to detail;• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole units of measure;• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques;• Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials;• Use hand scanners and radio devices;• Operate various types of motorized fork trucks;• Must be able to lift, push/pull 50 lbs.;• Frequent standing and walking is necessary;• Frequent sitting, stooping, reaching, or climbing;• 20/40 vision is required with or without the use of corrective glasses and/or contact lens, as well as normal peripheral vision no less than 70, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.;• Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules;• Must be able to wear all required PPE including, but not limited to: safety toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
