As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, DSA).
- Prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor patient condition and administer contrast media as directed.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
- Document procedures and patient information.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Graduation from an accredited ARRT-eligible Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including 1 year of recent IR experience (or completion of an IR cross-training program).
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (R).
- ARRT Certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI),
- Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV)
- State Radiologic Technologist License (CRT)
- Fluoroscopy License (RTF).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
