We’re seeking an experienced Handyman to join our team as a Maintenance Runner. In this role, you’ll use your expertise to coordinate and oversee repairs—without having to perform the heavy lifting yourself. Instead, you’ll work closely with our office staff and trusted vendors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance between tenants, office staff, and vendors—no hands-on repairs required!
- Meet with vendors on-site to assess issues, provide access, and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Post notices for tenants (e.g., maintenance alerts, unit updates) and update community boards.
- Install and manage leasing materials, including "Now Leasing" signs, lockboxes, and property marketing displays.
- Conduct light property inspections—identify and report maintenance needs (e.g., leaks, lighting, safety hazards).
- Assist with unit turnovers—coordinate vendor timelines, verify work completion, and prepare units for new tenants.
- Maintain organized records of work orders, vendor communications, and property logs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and building systems.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safety practices related to construction and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation between job sites.

Pay: $25.07 - $28.00 per hour
