Offering quality brands like Rehlko (formerly KOHLER®) and Atlas Copco, the PSW team provides new equipment, service, parts, and rental power solutions for data center, commercial, municipal, and residential facilities that require emergency generator back-up power.
The Job
We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to work in our Intermountain region (CO, UT, ID, MT, WY), to lead and manage the existing Outside Sales team in that region. This individual will support their respective teams’ daily activities towards seeking out opportunities through closing jobs and selling directly to specified assigned accounts of their own.
- Manage Outside Sales team and their responsibility for weekly sales calls, quotes, orders, training/development; Work closely with team to increase sales opportunities, effectively utilize marketing and promotional strategies
- Lead weekly team meeting to solve issues and guide team; Participate in annual and quarterly planning
- Sell to assigned accounts: gathers requirements, participates in quoting process, and follow up to close the sale
- Work closely with all leaders including those from other departments to resolve issues quickly and take care of our customers
- Collaborate on inventory needs; Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, ensuring that PSW remains competitive
- Create monthly forecasts for orders and profitability
- Build and manage relationships with companies that supply products and services to PSW, foster customer relationships to grow the business; address customer feedback including concerns/escalated matters; coordinate design/engineering sales calls/training/lunch and learns; assist Outside Sales team to sell, problem solve and provide technical support.
- Fully utilize CRM tools and ensure team members are following suit. Report through CRM lost and won jobs, backlog, and opportunity pipeline
- Lead Outside Sales process improvement initiatives and provide both subject matter expertise and thought leadership to ensure standardization, efficiencies and best practices are employed
- Ensure sales team receives internal and external training on a regular basis, including process changes, PSW/Rehlko products, product application training, competitive strengths and weaknesses, demonstration techniques, sales process training and on how to use all of the PSW reference resources.
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- College Degree (Preferred), High school diploma or GED
· Minimum 5 years of Sales experience in Power Generation or related industry
· Prefer Sales Supervision experience in Power Generation or related industry
· Demonstrated proficiency meeting growth initiatives and delivering bottom line results
· Strategic thinker with proven ability to lead, coach and mentor
· Strong customer relations skills: ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and oral)
· Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the job
· Ability to effectively present information to peers, customers, leadership team, and the public
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
· Ability to solve complex problems and sell in a consultative role; ability to adapt strategy to changing conditions
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Experience with Dynamics or another CRM
· This job will require approximately 50% travel throughout assigned region to call on customers; occasional conferences, factory-based training, and team meetings, etc.

§ Salary: Salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary, dependent upon experience, plus commission, auto allowance, and bonus eligible.
§ Work Environment: Work from Intermountain Region (CO, ID, UT) spending 50 % of time traveling throughout region. Will be a mix of office, jobsite, and customer visits.
