What are the responsibilities and job description for the BPS Support position at Power & Tel?
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive bid packages from engineering firms, contractors, customer and sales team members
- Uses forms, spreadsheets and formulas to develop the P&T bid for each project
- Obtains list of prospective bidders on RUS projects
- Requests and negotiates pricing of OSP material with manufacturers & verifies its availability for specific projects
- Provides bid packages to appropriate pre-bid contractors and P&T Account Managers
- Follows up on quotes to determine the successful bidder
- Salesforce – Locate contacts, price updates and opportunities and assign and close out tasks
- Documents all competitive information for future analysis
- Support Account Manager in meeting customer’s needs
- Enter Customer Orders and quotes in the system
- Research and follow-up on open customer orders
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets

Minimum Educational Requirements: |
High school diploma or GED. |
Experience Required: 1-2 years’ experience with Power & Tel preferred, but not required. 1-2 years supporting order entry, customer support, problem solving customer accounts. |
