This position will be responsible for ensuring that the PUPCO Fulfillment Center operates efficiently, while minimizing errors, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who is data driven and collaborative in their approach.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload products onto or from delivery vehicles and/or pallets
- Perform picking/packing duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
- Determine the appropriate destination of product by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and sorting packings accordingly
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee accuracy of inventory
- Maintains safety protocols within distribution center
- Participate in physical inventory counts
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read and comprehend purchase orders, pick tickets and instructions
- Ability to read a tape measure
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work primarily standing for an extended period of time
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods
