Adapted Fitness Professional Wanted! We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team of fitness professionals in providing adapted fitness services to individuals with physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing top-notch service.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and implement individualized fitness plans for clients with physical disabilities.
Provide one-on-one and group fitness training sessions.
Assess client’s abilities and adapt exercises as necessary to ensure safe and effective workouts.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and provide regular progress reports to clients and their caregivers
Educate clients and their families about the benefits of regular physical activity and provide support and encouragement to help clients reach their goals.
Stay current on industry trends and techniques related to adapted fitness and continue to develop professional skills through ongoing training and education.
Qualifications & Skills:
-Certification in adaptive or inclusive fitness from a recognized organization.
-Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
-Strong understanding of adaptive fitness equipment and techniques.
-Familiarity with various disabilities and how they impact physical activity.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
-Knowledge of current research and trends in adaptive fitness.
