SALARY RANGE:
$250,000 - $300,000
This salary range is an hourly exempt (exempt from overtime) position. Benefits are provided in addition to the salary range.
Description
This is a full-time position that requires 50% travel. The other 50% can be either in Stevensville, Maryland or remote. This position will include extended travel of 4-6 weeks to locations in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities and Duties
- 50% travel to operationally relevant areas of interest.
- Provide field engineering (sensor and communications integration, networking, software development) support, assistance, and guidance to armed forces members.
- Provide training and demonstration on relevant technologies
- Plans and leads major technology assignments
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
- May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software
Requirements and Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Javascript, Java, C/C , Go, Rust
- Deep understanding of the OSI model with a focus on TCP/IP
- Experience with MANET such as Silvus / Tresllisware / MPU5
- Understanding of tactical software such as TAK, and, TRAX
- Thorough knowledge of Azure cloud and hybrid cloud-based technologies
- Experience communicating with end users in high stress environments
