Position: Water Jet Operator/Technician
Department: Fabrication and Machining
Direct Report To: Lead Machinist/ Lead Welder
Company Background:
PowerBuilt is an industry in the design and implementation of custom material handling equipment. Our clients include many of the largest auto manufacturers in North America. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our machining and fabrication team with the tasks and responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities for this position include:

Operator
- Operate OMAX water jet
- Program OMAX water via 2 axis software
- Forklift operation
- Completing cut lists via horizontal bandsaw
- Assist fabrication with any help needed within one’s skillset
- Daily forklift tasks
- Properly maintain water jet parts tracker and finished parts tracker
- Able to perform pump rebuild within 1-2 years of employment
- Preventative Maintenance is extremely critical in this position
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exposure to Microsoft Office & Excel
- Baseline SolidWorks exposure is preferred
- SolidWorks exposure preferred, but not required
- Machine operator and maintenance required
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required
- Good communication skills
- Coworker respect and Service - Teamwork
