We are seeking a detail-oriented Wire Shop Specialist with strong manual dexterity, proficiency in hand tools, and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams. This role ensures quality and efficiency in wire assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Harness Area: Prepare initial wiring harnesses, update computer systems, wire
- subcomponents, and label multi-conductor cables.
- Pan Area: Wire small interior pans, terminal blocks, and custom communication cables.
- Door Wiring: Select harnesses and wire doors; some tasks occur on the assembly floor.
- Floor Wiring: Connect doors, interior wiring pans, and units, requiring dexterity in busy, confined spaces.
Overall Tasks:
- Assemble and fabricate wire harnesses per wiring diagrams.
- Identify wire types, sizes, and lugs as specified.
- Use tools like wire strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers safely.
- Perform quality checks and maintain a clean workspace.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (technical training a plus).
