What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hot Shot Delivery Driver position at Powerforce Inc.?
Immediate opening available for a contract Hot Shot delivery driver picking up medication from local pharmacies in San Antonio and delivering to nursing facilities.
This opportunity is available for an Independent Contract Driver (use your own vehicle) in the San Antonio, TX area to deliver medication to various nursing homes in San Antonio and the surrounding area. Candidates will need to have a clean criminal & driving background. Candidates will need to use a smart phone to use our mobile application.
We pay $0.90 per mile from our office in San Antonio zip code 78217 to the pharmacy where you pick up the medication, and then $0.90 per mile from the pharmacy to the facility where you deliver the medication. A nurse will be required to accept the delivery and sign for it in the mobile application.
The request for service can occur any time, day, evening or overnight. It just depends on the needs of our customers.
Qualifications include:
- Must be 18 or older to perform this service
- Live in close proximity to San Antonio and willing to perform deliveries in the city and surrounding area
- Good, clean record (background checks are completed for both criminal & driving records)
- Cell phone/Smartphone, laptop/tablet with access to the Internet
- Does not mind driving in all weather conditions
- Provide Great communication and Outstanding Customer Service
- Be Reliable and Flexible
- 1099 Position
