Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed to preserve the quality of flooring materials.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Handle commercial cleaning responsibilities in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
