System Engineer IV (U.S. Citizen)

NOTE : This position is for our forthcoming (expected March / April 2025) long-term federal project in San Antonio TX. The position requires candidate to be on-site. Please review the requirements carefully.

Daily Responsibilities

Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance to the organization’s business requirements.
Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure platforms.
Coordinate changes such as implementation of new infrastructure platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard infrastructure platforms.
Perform infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning.
Perform architecture and evaluate new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products.
Monitor system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts.
Provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab or production environments.
Centralize mobile device management and maintenance, combining security and management solutions for devices, applications, data, and content by :
Enabling IT to track and manage wireless devices
Improving security, integration, and mobile application adoption
Securely managing mobile devices and platforms
Increasing access to data, applications, and services

Requirements

Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by the government client.

Must be local to the San Antonio TX area and be on-site daily (no convenience travel).

Must have at a minimum an active public trust investigation, and able to obtain and hold a secret clearance.

Must have a CompTIA Security certification.

Must have a CompTIA Network certification.

Must be a Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA).

Must be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

15 years of architecture, deployment, and managing enterprise Windows Server and Virtualization solutions.

Technical training and experience in Citrix, VMware, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, DISA, ACAS. McAfee, and Dell Storage.

BS / BA degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
