QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Must have two (2) years of experience in aviation supply/material control procedures.
Must demonstrate sound arithmetic practices
Must have practical knowledge of a wide range of common and specialized aircraft tools. Have the knowledge and manual dexterity required to make minor repairs to hand tools.
Must be able to type accurately 20 WPM.
Must have a valid state operator’s license and be able to pass the government licensing requirements for support equipment and forklifts.
Obtain and maintain all applicable GSE licenses.
Must become familiar with Company and Government Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality Control and Property Control policies and procedures and local operating procedures within 60 days of date of hire or assignment to position.
Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand English language.
Knowledge of materials used and safety precaution as applicable to usage.
Familiarization with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series and other applicable Navy instruction, maintenance instruction manuals, IPB’s, manufacturer’s manuals, and company instructions as required for the performance of job functions.
Must have the ability to accurately carry out written and verbal orders, instructions and directives.
LICENSING, CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Must be able to get a CAC Card
- Certifications/Licensing as required by the contract or Prime Contractor
- Certifications/Licensing as required by COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series
