Warehouse Production Picker

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Production Picker (Kitter) will be responsible for accurately and timely picking and assembling parts for production kits.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)*

• Accurately pick parts from inventory locations using pick tickets.
• Stage parts into kits according to specific instructions for production assembly
• Organize stock and maintain inventory in picking areas.
• Help identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or kits.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Help contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Other duties as assigned, needed or required

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and understand pick lists and work instructions
• Must have proven experience working well within a team environment
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• General computer skills for basic entry into ERP
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Customer service focused
