Job Description
Summary:supporting, monitoring, and maintaining core business applications using Microsoft.Net and Microsoft SQL Server, or other software applications, and providing daily IT support tasks as needed within the PowerRail team of companies by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
Works with end users and other IT staff to determine and document functional and technical specifications for potential solutions.
Assists in researching, developing, augmenting, and implementing software systems to include writing of computer code and processing updates as needed.
Assists in maintaining comprehensive protection of company’s software systems from outside attack from viruses, malware, etc.
Assists in maintaining software usage logs, error logs and corrective action reports as needed.
Promotes and maintains the integrity of data in all PowerRail systems.
Assists in performing analysis of system and database usage, misuse, and future expansion of features.
Creates and distributes reports as needed.
Completes special projects as directed.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A. / A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a substantial knowledge of computer programming languages, computer network design and operation, word processing software; spreadsheet software; accounting software; payroll systems; internet software; database software and contact management software.
- Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
