We have a full time position for an Optometric Technician in an optometry office near Powers and Dublin. Full-time position is Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm. We are looking for motivated team players with excellent communication skills to join our team. Experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right motivated, detailed oriented person. Duties include:
- Perform preliminary tests on patients, including measuring visual acuity, retinal imaging, visual fields, and obtaining patient history.
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Computer skills are a must.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
- Help patients in the optical and adjust eyeglass frames.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
