Full time, Hybrid.  Required to be onsite for onboarding and quarterly staff meetings.

Job Description:

This position resides in the Data Analytics and Informatics (DAI) department of Powers Health and is responsible for the development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reports in support of the organization’s analytic initiatives. This role works closely with hospital departments and leadership, as well as other areas of the DAI department, including the business intelligence developers, CRM, and clinical integration teams, in the implementation and roll out of analytics projects. This position will lead and perform complex analysis and assist customers in transforming data into information through logical data models that fit the customer’s needs and help the organization to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have expert level excel skills, previous experience in the development of dashboards, and the ability to bring data to life through storytelling and visual analytics.

Key Functions:

• • Build dashboards and reports using Tibco Spotfire that provide insights and actionable information for business leaders
  • Translate business opportunities and use cases into comprehensive analytic requirements
  • Develop interactive visualizations using data from various data sources
  • Summarize raw data into meaningful, easy-to-understand information
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested by leadership
  • Work with customers to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of business needs
  • Develop and produce various scorecards, including for both overall service lines and individual provider performance
  • Collect and study data to reveal ways to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Make recommendations about the methods a company should use to collect, analyze and manage data to improve data quality and the efficiency of data systems
  • Analyze and quantify impact of organizational initiatives
  • Validate accuracy and integrity of data

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar roles preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and other basic data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to create presentations for project management support or that summarize data analysis findings.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare data (e.g., claims, patient, provider data) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with business stakeholders and document their needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
