POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the planning, staffing, organizing and coordinating the operations of a patient care area. Develops and implements the policies, procedures and standards of the unit. Assures the highest quality and standards of care for the patients on the unit.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Bachelor Degree preferred with 3-5 years of unit specific experience.
- Prior supervisory/management experience highly desirable.
- Maintains current CPR Certification and safety and infection control validations.
