What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Improvement Coord position at Powers Health?
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager Nursing Systems and Regulatory Quality, the PI Coordinator supports the design, monitoring, analysis and improvement of patient care functions. Participates in the development and implementation of Nursing Performance Improvement Plans. Identifies the need for and conducts performance improvement studies. Prepares and presents related data and reports to the Nursing Division and Hospital Quality Improvement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in the development of Process Improvement Plans.
- Minimum experience level required: 5-10 years as an RN
- Specific skills required for the position are as follows: Microsoft Office Products and written communication skills to be able to communicate with nursing departments.
- Analytical ability to participate in the development of policies and procedures, and conduct clinical surveillance.
