Powers Health Registry is looking for an experienced phlebotomist who can work all Powers Health hospitals and outpatient facilities, plus nursing home draws.
The Phlebotomist serves as a liaison between the hospital laboratory and the patient by collecting blood specimens, urine and other specimens from both inpatients and outpatients, under general supervision, according to prescribed aseptic technique, for use in clinical and diagnostic laboratory testing.
Successful completion of an accredited Phlebotomy certification program. Registered with NPA/NCA/ASPT/AMT/ASCP. Two years of previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
