PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TRAINING

Minimum 1 year employment commitment as Pharmacy Tech after completing training.
A Student Healthcare Worker will work alongside pharmacy technicians and staff to learn pharmacy-related duties such as stocking medications, batching IV’s, sterile and nonsterile compounding, inventory management, quality control and more. These duties are completed under the supervision of the Pharmacy Technician Manager or Pharmacy Manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED. Math and science focus preferred.
- Technician in training license required within 30 days of hire
- Basic math and algebra, computer keyboard use, navigation in windows based programs.
- Microsoft Office, access to computer for remote training, clear communication skills, telephone etiquette, etc.
- Self-starter, people-oriented, able to work in a team and independently, takes pride in work and detail oriented.
