From design-conception through the life of the building, we provide specialized product, construction, and service expertise to designers, contractors and building owners throughout CO, NM, W. TX, and WY. With over 300 projects completed annually, our scopes are featured on high-profile projects throughout the region such as the Broncos Indoor Practice facility, the Colorado Convention Center, and thousands of projects at all college campuses, K-12 school districts, military campuses, corporate offices, and more. We are currently searching for a motivated professional with relevant industry experience to join our operations team as a Project Manager.


Specific Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1)    Manage the execution of projects after contract award through project closeout.

2)    Thoroughly review contract documents, including plans and specifications, to clearly understand our scope of work.

3)    Engineering/Submittal Management - Produce comprehensive submittals highlighting questions or clarifications for our scope. Coordinate other submittal requirements, including samples, mock-ups, etc.

4)    Schedule Management – responsible for understanding the construction schedule and our manufacturer lead times to ensure that we complete our scope on time. Persistent follow-up and diligent management through the submittal process, material ordering process, construction/installation phase, and project closeout are essential.

5)    Material Ordering and Install Coordination – after submittals are approved, coordinate any necessary field engineering to order materials accurately and timely. Coordinate with the GC and our installation resources to properly plan for project execution upon receipt of materials. 

6)    Financial Management - keen awareness of and commitment to the project budget, diligent change order management, monthly pay application preparation, and vendor invoice approval. 

7)    General Project Management – detailed documentation, consistent organization, and proactive communication with customers, vendors, and Powers team members. Committed to the goal of “no surprises.”

8)    Other tasks as assigned.  



Desired qualifications for potential candidates include:

  • 10 years of program management experience within the commercial construction industry is required.
  • Ability to diligently manage our scope of work on multiple construction projects simultaneously, with total value under management ranging from $4M - $6M.
  • Passionate about customer service.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, and technology-savvy.
  • Proficient user of construction documents, including plans, specs, and all other project documentation.
  • Experience with BlueBeam is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Autodesk Build is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize and process multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player… must be capable and willing to support the team in all business areas as needed.


Position Type / Work Location:

  • Full-time role, based out of our main office in metro Denver (Englewood)
  • Construction site visits as required

Compensation:

·       Total Compensation Range – $90K - $130K depending on qualifications and experience plus bonus

·       Health/Dental/Vision/Life insurance, Matching 401K
