Responsibilities
Description
The Employee Engagement & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the design and delivery of solutions and programs that drive organizational culture, employee engagement and recognition. In addition, the EEC Manager will be responsible for supporting the Employee Engagement & Communications team in conveying meaningful internal communications from the Executive Leadership team to PowerSchool employees globally. Using various communication channels, this person will create and distribute intentional messaging to employees to support the company's strategy and mission. This position is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and tactical responsibilities.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Lead the development and execution of internal communications programs and deliverables to include Global Town Halls, executive leadership sessions, company newsletter and organizational announcements.
- Proactively create and manage standalone messaging and campaigns through email, chat, intranet, presentations, digital signage and other channels to deliver compelling content that engages employees and strengthens company culture.
- Drive our employee listening strategy, making recommendations based on results and following through on resulting commitments.
- Collaborate with PX, marketing, and other departments to design and execute initiatives that promote culture, employee recognition, and sense of community.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on best practices for employee engagement and retention.
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee engagement and incorporate them into the company's strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.
- Proven track record developing and executing comprehensive employee communications and engagement strategies that increase engagement and retention.
- Experience with a range of communications channels (e.g., intranet, email, video/webinar, in-office events social media and tools, (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop)
- Experience partnering with CEO and/or other executives.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative writing and storytelling skills that capture the voice of the executives while driving consistent messaging.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $96,200 - $136,900 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
