What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Analyst position at PowerSecure Brand?
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst develops, implements, analyzes, reports, and maintains all of the procedures results and protocols in regard to proper inventory control for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information and process accountability.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, operations management or a related field. Experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrates the ability to pay very close attention to detail and immediately notice any discrepancies regarding inventory and finances.
- Shows the ability to solve complex problems individually and quickly.
- Possesses the ability to create solutions to previously unsolved issues.
- Must be able to communicate well with others to implement inventory control plans.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well with computers and maintain databases effectively. High level of Excel and MS office proficiency.
- Shows professionalism, particularly when working with clients and customers or other departments within the company.
- Possesses strong written communication skills for the creation of reports.
- Previous or current proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or IFS is needed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
- Ability to write reports and create graphs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Materials Management team to include receiving, picking, counting and all other assigned duties.
- Monitors inventory levels very closely and resolves any issues that may become apparent.
- Ensures seamless movement of products and inventory.
- Work closely with Senior Supply Chain Analyst to produce timely and accurate reporting for Management.
- Assists in inventory deliveries and shipment of inventory as required.
- Maintains records regarding inventory control.
- All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Extended standing walking and repetitive movements.
- Warehouse and office environment. Some air-conditioned space some unconditioned.
