Job Summary :

The primary duties of the Electrician are to ensure the safe and efficient installation of backup / supplemental power distribution generator equipment within the specifications of the project. Our projects require an experienced Electrician who is proficient working on three phase systems. The Electrician will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of his / her crew members along with the completion of each project in accordance with forecasted timelines.

Minimum Qualifications : (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills) :

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum two years’ experience as an electrician working with generators, switchgear, and other 3 phase systems.
• Possess an understanding of codes and standards that guide the emplacement of backup and supplemental power distribution units.
• Travel required (90% ), must be willing and able to drive company vehicle and / or fly commercially if necessary.
• Ability to read construction drawings / blueprints highly preferred.
• Journeyman’s License not required but preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes.
• Knowledge of using hand tools safely and properly.

Work environment may include, but are not limited to the following : Exposure to weather in varying climates, exposure to noise intensity levels, exposure to energized electrical equipment, exposure to overhead hazards (crane & rigging), and exposure to heavy machinery.
