Business Development & Sales Leader, Data Centers is a senior-level commercial position that involves identifying, championing, and securing growth opportunities in the data center markets in alignment with the organization's strategic goals. They are responsible for the development of the commercial growth strategy and sales execution in the data center vertical, yielding sustained, profitable growth for PowerSecure in alignment with PowerSecure's Strategic Plan. Individual will also work closely with the marketing, project development, operations, and executive leadership to ensure that PowerSecure exceeds customer expectations and business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications : (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills) :
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and / or business; preferred : master's degree in engineering and / or business
- Work experience in US data center markets including direct sales / sales management experience in US data center market; preferred : direct experience with energy management, microgrids, and / or distributed generation as applied to data center applications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, sales management, and / or product management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Experienced ability to lead sales resources while partnering with various internal support groups.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external audiences on technical and financial topics.
