Project Description :
The Client is implementing Salesforce projects that will use Sharepoint as a document management tool. The Sharepoint architecture will be built within the existing enterprise-wide Sharepoint tenant. Role-based access will be controlled by application roles and access controls. Documents within Sharepoint will only be accessed through the relevant application. Additionally, documents will be meta-tagged based on application features. Additionally, documents uploaded through external portals will be saved in Sharepoint with the necessary meta-tags.
Responsibilities :
- Subject matter expertise in Sharepoint for Government and Salesforce integrations.
- Understand State's existing Sharepoint environment in Government tenant currently deployed across Executive branch of State.
- Work closely with the existing state Sharepoint administrators to understand the Government tenant architecture, its features and limitations to help develop an application-specific electronic data management system.
- Knowledge of integrating Sharepoint with Salesforce applications implementation to leverage Sharepoint as the document management repository.
- Ability to guide and advice on user roles and permissions to ensure that documents are accessed based on application roles and permissions.
- Knowledge of developing and maintaining tagging and meta-tagging functionality to ensure secure document access.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams and technical architecture documentation of integration between CCWIS and SharePoint.
- Ability to work with migration tools such as Sharegate and SharePoint Migration Tool to develop the workflow and migration of documents from legacy repositories to the new repository with necessary tagging.
- Ability to develop test plans, implement test plans and monitor risks during implementation of integration between SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Develop monitoring systems to ensure high availability on an ongoing basis.
- Understand State's retention policies and develop monitoring tools to report on document retention and deletion.
- Develop capability to monitor overall health of integration between Salesforce and SharePoint, maintain version settings based on application needs, site permissions, usage etc.
- Needs to have experience working with migration tools such as Sharegate and SharePoint Migration Tool.
- Understanding of how to perform and enable security and vulnerability tests to ensure security of SharePoint access as document repository, within the overall tenant and within this specific instance.
- Support daily operations of SharePoint document repository, supporting creating and updating documents from the CCWIS application in a seamless manner.
- Ability to create secure Sharepoint sites for communication and information dissemination.
