What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Powersports Company?

Compensation:$30 - $40 hourly
Responsibilities:- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and to dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles, test components, and systems using diagnostic tools and special proprietary equipment
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain machine systems including engine, transmission, electrical, air conditioning, brakes, suspension, etc
- Maintain records of parts used on repairs
- Communicate with the service advisor any items needing to be addressed for the customer's machine
- Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a positive attitude and appropriately represent the dealer at all times
- Must have 2 years of experience directly related to the job
- Must have own tools necessary to perform repairs
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools
- Team attitude
- Willingness to take direction from other team members
