What are the responsibilities and job description for the Core Teardown Technician position at PowerSportsNation?
Power Sports Nation is looking for one individual that will work with our Engine Department to tear down salvaged engines. This is a great position for an aspiring mechanic that wants to develop further into a skilled engine mechanic. Production is crucial in this position where the ideal candidate will be able to work 45-hours a week with minimal absences. We offer great hours (M-THU 7-6pm, F 7-Noon) NO WEEKENDS! We are willing to train and develop the right individual. Mandatory drug test at hire.
Pay: $15.00 per Hour

Responsibilities:
- Identify cores received
- Rate cores following ABC rating system
- Disassemble salvaged engine cores
- Identify engine parts
- Determine parts to discard/usable parts and tag
- Picture parts, create inventory listing, shelf/pick parts
- Document discarded items
- Value cores and return for refund
- Pull cores for builders
Requirements:
- Must have own tools or be willing to purchase required tools
- Must have high-mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to identify engine components
- Must be able to properly dispose of various chemicals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
