What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wedding and Event Decor and Floral Specialists position at Powerstation Events?
We're on the hunt for experienced and creative individuals to join our Event Decor and Design team AND our floral team! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for transforming event spaces into unforgettable settings that will leave guests wowed. Responsibilities:
- Prep, load, unload and install decor, including furniture, lighting, draping and props
- Work closely with the events team to set up and break down events
- Keep the event space clean and organized during and after events
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure that all the details of the event are executed flawlessly
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- A creative mind with a flair for design and a passion for creating enchanting environments
- Physically able to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
