General Construction Foreman

PowerTech is seeking a multidisciplined individual to join our growing construction division. This position with work with our experienced crews to complete a wide array of construction tasks at different job sites.

· Range starting at $30 with substantial upside for experience and skill

· $2,500 sign on bonus

Qualifications:

• 3 years of construction foreman experience, required
• Ability to effectively manage crews of 5 employees.
• Knowledge and ability to supervise the use of all tools, material, equipment, and personnel.
• Knowledge of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, and decimals.
• Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to actively listen and express oneself clearly.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or stilts.
• Ability to read and execute detailed (blueprint) plans and specifications and comply with building codes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards and implement measures to prevent accidents.
• Conduct regular audits of the construction site to ensure adherence to quality control and safety protocols.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and correct various construction issues
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites, required

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· May include overnight travel, travel expense per diem rate

· May require after hours due to emergencies

· Travel 25%, required.
