Role Duties:
Our Shipping/Receiving Specialist orchestrates efficient material handling, ensuring thorough shipping/receiving operations, and completing necessary documentation. Masterfully constructs and secures large crates and shipping containers for premium product transport. Occasionally ventures into manufacturing support tasks.
- Execute cycle counting, material handling, replenishing, order picking, and packaging tasks.
- Embrace all designated duties.
Essentials You Bring:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- A minimum of one year's hands-on experience with receiving/inventory.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a commendable driving history.
- Skilled in operating forklifts.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in navigating inventory systems within ERP (Visual) and showcasing advanced MS Excel capabilities.
Desirable Experience:
- Over three years' proficiency in receiving/inventory operations is favorable.
- International and domestic shipping is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing process.
- Certifications in forklift and crane handling.
- OSHA-10 course completion.
Skill Mastery:
- Proficiency in safe operation of saws and hand tools.
- Comprehension of efficient production processes, preferred.
- Experience in using ERPs or Inventory Management Systems welcomed.
- General familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Solid grounding in mathematics.
- Strong English proficiency, both verbal and written; ability to interpret technical documents.
