SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Government Contracts Junior Associate to join its Washington, DC office as part of its collaborative, thriving, and growing government contracts group. This role involves counseling clients on federal contract bidding, compliance, and defense, as well as handling litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
LOCATION: Washington, DC
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct legal research and writing.
- Provide client counseling on government contracts, federal grants, and subcontracts.
- Represent clients before various governmental agencies.
- Handle protests, claims, ethics, and compliance issues.
- Work closely with clients ranging from large to small government contractors and grant recipients.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- 1 to 3 years of government contracts legal experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Membership or ability to waive into the DC Bar.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary range: $170,000 – $250,000 (varies based on location, experience, degrees, and certifications).
- Annual merit-based bonus eligibility.
