The AI Implementation IT Project Management internship offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI solutions in the fast-growing energy storage sector. You'll gain hands-on experience with large language models, Python programming, and AWS services while contributing to sustainable energy solutions. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll learn how AI governance and cybersecurity shape the future of energy storage optimization, setting you up for success in two of today's most innovative and impactful industries.
Job Duties:
AI Systems Support:
- Assist in analyzing and testing AI systems/models
- Support implementation of long-term AI solutions and monitoring of pilot solutions
- Help document system performance
Technical Development & Analysis:
- Support data analysis and Python scripting tasks
- Research AI trends in energy storage
- Test and evaluate AI models for specific use cases
Governance & Collaboration:
- Help maintain AI governance documentation
- Apply cybersecurity best practices
- Participate in team meetings and collaborations
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of large language models (LLMs) and AI systems
- Foundational knowledge of Python programming
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and ethical judgment
Recommended Qualifications:
- Basic familiarity with AWS services
- Previous coursework or projects involving AI/ML
- Understanding of basic software development principles
- Awareness of AI ethics and governance frameworks
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $23.00/hr.-$26.00/hr. Additional Benefits include coverage under the Company's health and welfare plan and 401k plan. Flexible Work Arrangements and more.
