Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office (PMO), the Senior Program Manager will help define Program Management methodologies, Program Governance best practices, and Change Management practices. In addition, the Senior Program Manager will drive the portfolio of Powin’s Strategic Initiatives, change programs, and cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring that programs and projects align with the company’s strategic vision and objectives. This role is responsible for driving critical corporate initiatives, setting standards for program management and mentoring other Program and Project Managers across the enterprise. The Senior Program Manager will also assist in defining and driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective project execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio & Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements. Implement and standardize project management methodologies, tools, and templates. Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, providing regular updates to senior leadership
- Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects, ensuring that resources are used effectively to meet project objectives. Collaborate across departments and teams to manage resource requirements and resolve resource conflicts. Provide strategic input on resource planning and forecasting to support the organization’s growth and project demands
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular project reviews, risk assessments, and change management processes
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Analyze project outcomes and lessons learned to drive future project success. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the PMO
- Contribute to the development and enterprise-wide adoption of Program Management methodologies by collaborating with stakeholders to shape and refine best practices
- Play a Support the creation and integration of Change Management best practices across the enterprise by actively participating in cross-functional efforts and alignment initiatives. role in the definition of Change Management best practices and driving adoption across the enterprise
- Assist in the establishment and promotion of Continuous Improvement best practices, working alongside teams to drive operational efficiency and innovation
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- PMI or equivalent certification
- 8 years of program management experience or related work, with experience in engineering or technical fields preferred
- 8 years of proven experience managing large, complex projects and programs across multiple departments or functions
- 5 years' experience in Change Management best practices as they relate to strategic program management
- 7 years' experience in continuous improvement methodologies (i.e Six Sigma); Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification is highly desired
- Familiarity with corporate data, operations, and business intelligence systems (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Oracle, NetSuite, Arena, PowerBI)
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and best practices
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, SmartSheets)
Physical Requirements:
- Remote opportunity within the United States with the ability to travel occasionally for business purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $144,000-$201,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
