Summary
Join our dynamic team at POWR2 as a Mechanical Design Engineer in our commercialization department. and take responsibility for developing and refining the mechanical properties of POWR2 products. This pivotal role works closely with other Engineers, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure that all mechanical design & engineering requirements are executed to the highest standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Design and Development:
- Develop, evaluate, and refine mechanical designs and specifications for our various product lines.
- Use market evaluation and the customer voice to drive aesthetic and functional design.
- Use CAD software to create detailed models and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet market requirements and address constraints.
Analysis and Testing:
- Perform simulations and analyses, including stress, strain, temperature, environmental, and air flow to validate designs.
- Develop and execute test plans to evaluate mechanical systems and components.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with designs, making necessary modifications to improve performance and reliability.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of quality results.
- Oversee drafting requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to specify materials and components.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical systems and components.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams to ensure high-quality output.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in mechanical engineering and related technologies.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve existing products and processes.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in mechanical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
