This position is part-time, primarily second shift (evenings and weekends), although there may be future opportunity for additional/alternate shifts. Training for this Position is **on-site** in Rochester MN: 2-4 weeks between M-F during business hours. Upon completion of training, candidates will be eligible to work remotely.
Powrful Media is a digital marketing agency generating leads for small businesses in the home improvement industry. We are hiring for our scheduling team, where your job will be to persuade our clients’ customers to agree to appointments, which you will then set in our clients’ CRMs. You will communicate with customers in FB messenger and over the phone.
The ideal candidate will be both detail-oriented and a strong communicator who cares about getting things right and providing a great customer experience for our clients and their customers.
Essential job Duties:
- Efficiently manage large amounts of inbound/outbound FB messages and inbound/outbound phone calls.
- Be persistent and assumptive when interacting with customers, treating every lead as a “yes” until they are a “no.”
- Think logistically by taking into account geography, drive time, etc. when setting appointments
- Quickly move from one task to another, managing 10 different web platforms and dozens of browser tabs
- Pay careful and consistent attention to detail, since each of our clients’ needs vary slightly
- Demonstrate proactive communication with the team, our clients, and their customers.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong competence in web-based activities: browser management and organization, Google docs, CRMs, etc.
- Natural aptitude and curiosity for learning, using, and trouble-shooting browser-based and local apps
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- 50 WPM minimum
- Mapping skills and working knowledge/ability to learn different geographies
- Prompt and clear communication skills
- Readiness to give and accept feedback for company improvements
- Self-motivated and driven, especially in regard to attention to detail and personal/digital organization
Working Conditions and System Requirements:
- A highly-organized and dedicated home office/workspace free from distractions
- Working PC/laptop with at least 8 GB (ideally 16 GB) RAM and decent GPU
- Minimum two monitors
- Webcam and headset
- Up-to-date operating system (Apple or Windows) and antivirus
- A reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum 100 MBPs down/30 MBPs up, ideally wired.
Experience and Credentials
- HS Diploma preferred but not required
- Administrative experience preferred
- Professional communication and/or marketing experience preferred
Compensation Details
- Pay starts at $14/hour
- You will receive a bonus for appointments set; there is no cap to the bonus structure
- After factoring in bonus, most schedulers make $18-$22/hour, and our best schedulers make more
