Powwow Events is a leading event production company known for organizing large-scale expos, conferences, and trade shows across multiple industries. We create high-impact platforms that bring together thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors — and we're growing rapidly. As we expand, we're looking for a driven and experienced Sales & Business Development Professional to lead the charge in exhibitor and sponsor acquisition.


About the Role

This is a high-impact sales role focused on driving revenue through exhibitor booth and sponsorship sales. You’ll play a key role in building relationships, finding leads, closing deals, and helping brands showcase themselves at some of the most exciting and innovative business events in the market.


This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales and business development, especially within the events, trade show, or conference industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Sell exhibitor booths and sponsorship packages for upcoming trade shows and conferences
  • Prospect, engage, and convert qualified leads via phone, email, social, and networking
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective exhibitors and sponsors
  • Maintain long-term client relationships with strong account management
  • Collaborate with the events team to align sales strategy with show goals
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve event offerings and outreach efforts
  • Hit and exceed sales targets consistently


Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or event sales
  • Experience in the events, expos, or media space is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of closing deals and hitting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus
