Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practitioner with 15 years of full stack technical architecture & cloud delivery. A self-starter with a strong motivation to achieve results.
- Excellent communication skills both written with ability to tailor engagement style as needed based on stakeholder level and technical background. The role requires proven experience engaging with leadership across IT and broader GSI business entities.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to present complex technical scenarios in a clear and concise manner.
- End-to-End Technical Architecture Expertise: Broad expertise across the full technical architecture stack, including development, security, IAM, infrastructure (cloud and on-premises), performance engineering, and operations. Emphasis on broad skillsets over deep specialization.
- Strong and deep understanding of networks given Clients Re's Hybrid cloud estate. This should include a working knowledge of routing, subnetting and IP stack. CCNA or equivalent would be considered a differentiator.
- Strong and deep understanding of development architecture - SCM, technical quality definition and enforcement, artefact management, build & dependency management. Java or .NET certification / experience as a developer would be considered a plus.
- Ability to influence decision making of peers and colleagues in architecture and security practices.
- Azure Active Directory & Identity Management deployment experience - including federation across hybrid estates. Working understanding of IAM technologies such as SAML and SSO.
