Description: This role will involve leading the planning, execution, and validation of the upgrade process while ensuring minimal impact on existing applications and infrastructure. Required Skills:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM BPM/IID Admin with expertise in migration of BPM workflows, BAW components, and IID artifacts (e.g., BPEL processes and mediation modules) to upgraded versions or platforms. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in cloning and migrating process servers, integration nodes, and related artifacts and proficiency in working with WebSphere Application and Process Server and WebSphere MQ.
- Expertise in install, configure, and maintain IBM BAW/BPM and IID environments, including process servers and application servers.
- Monitor and manage the health, performance, and availability of BAW workflows, BPM processes, and IID-based SOA solutions.
- Administer and troubleshoot BPEL processes, mediation flows, business rules, and related integration components.
- Plan and execute cloning of process servers, integration nodes, and IID SOA architectures for scalability or disaster recovery.
- Validate cloned and migrated nodes for functional, performance, and connectivity requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of cloned environments with load balancers and failover mechanisms.
- Implement backup solutions for BAW/BPM workflows, IID components, and related configurations.
- Test and document disaster recovery plans for both cloned and migrated systems.
- Ensure the continuous availability of critical business processes and SOA integrations.
- Analyze and optimize performance of process servers, BPEL workflows, mediation flows, and integration points.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime for business-critical processes.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with XML, WSDL, SOAP/REST, XSLT, and JSON for integrations.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Ant, or Python).
