About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic Partnerships Manager to join our growing team in Dallas. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about sports and live events. As a key player on our partnerships team, you’ll manage sponsor accounts, execute partnership deliverables, and ensure our sponsors have exceptional experiences both on and off the court.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for PPA’s partners and sponsors, managing relationships and deliverables.
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of partner activations at tournaments and events.
- Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, operations, sales, etc.) to fulfill partnership commitments.
- Track, report, and analyze partnership performance, providing insights and ensuring ROI.
- Travel to ~10 tournaments annually, supporting onsite activations and managing logistics.
- Maintain a solutions-focused mindset to handle challenges quickly and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–2 years of experience in account management, project management, partnerships, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn about the unique world of professional pickleball (prior knowledge not required).
Additional Requirements
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and working long days on your feet during tournaments.
- Must be available for travel, including some weekends and extended hours during events.
- Must be willing to work based out of our Dallas HQ when not traveling.
- Energetic, self-starting attitude with a passion for live sports and events.
Compensation
- Hourly position, equivalent to ~$60,000 per year depending on experience.
